And the cost of all these taxes bourn by whom? The consumer. The more a thing is taxed, the less gets bought. This makes consumers poorer but also filters back down the supply change.

Less bought, less need be produced. Lower production, fewer jobs, less profit for investment or to incentivise new investment. Less economic activity, lower tax receipts (not that that’s a bad thing), more borrowing , and ultimately economic recession.
